Dua kejadian yang menyayat sehingga mengorbankan 6 nyawa dalam masa 2 minggu melibatkan tanah runtuh merupa suatu kejadian serius yang mesti disiasat.Kejadian melibatkan 2 orang adik beradik yang terbunuh di Ulu Yam dan kejadian kedua malam tadi di Bukit Antarabangsa, Hulu Kelang meragut 4 nyawa lagi. Manakala lapan lapan orang lagi dikhuatiri terperangkap dalam kejadian tanah runtuh jam 4 pagi tadi yang menyebabkan 14 banglo di Taman Bukit Mewah dan Taman Bukit Utama di kawasan Bukit Antarabangsa dekat ibu negara, tertimbus.
Dua kejadian cukup tragis dan menyedihkan. Satu persoalan yang bermain di kepala saya ialah mengapa pihak berkuasa mengeluarkan kebenaran untuk pemaju atau tuan rumah ini membina rumah tersebut berhampiran lereng bukit atau pun di kaki bukit. Tidakkah ianya mengundang bahaya.
Sudah menjadi amalan dan lumrah di negara kita, pihak berwajib hanya mengambil tindakan selepas kejadian berlaku. Mengapa sikap kita demikian? Bukan satu kes tetapi hampir semua kes melibatkan keselematan tidak diuruskan secara professional dan sistematik. Langkah 'Preventive' yakni langkah pencegahan tidak diambil. Sudah terkena baru kelam kabut.
Saya menggesa pihak terbabit dan pihak berkuasa menyiasat kejadian ini dan mengambil tindakan sewajarnya jika terdapat unsur-unsur rasuah dan penyelewengan.
Sementara itu kerajaan dilaporkan membekukan kebenaran untuk pembinaan di kawasan lereng bukit.
Dah terantuk baru tengadah...inilah sikap kerajaan BN selama ini yang langsung tidak prihatin dengan keselamatan rakyat.

I am sure you will agree that safety comes first and if there is kecacatan dalam structure bangunan, the developer does not have a time frame BUT IN MALAYSIA THIS WILL NEVER BE THE CASE!
Please visit Block B at Pandan Perdana, Lake View Apartment. I have written to proper authorities to ask a simple question whether it is safe to occupy since May 2008 & which area the developer is responsible to maintain. All I get is "tai chi" on passing the problem from one hand to another. I have emails from proper authorities to show contradicting replies. They think the problem can go away itself.
Until this day, I am yet to get an answer. I have also written to MPAJ, Adun Cempaka & DAP Teratai. It seems to me that the person who is having the last laugh is the developer. I am sure they will still drive to work with their Mercedes after settling this issues.
I just cannot understand what is the "FORCE" behind this rational - A government officer who can make the right decision to help the people who are victims of irresponsible developers but instead prefer to take another cause of action.
Why protect the irresponsible developer party when you can do the alternative?

thae answers to all these questions, is 'TIDAK APA' attitude & 'CORRUPTION'. Do you know how much money is involved, go check out the interiors of the houses of all these govt, state, local muncipalaties' Check out the gold and clothing their family members have, check the background of the properties owned by family members. I worked for developers some time ago, the policy is this after they have handed the keys over to you, it is no more their problem, even when they have built in 'RISKY AREAS' You think they don't know, a lot of these developers park their assets overseas in case 'something' happens. The SOP or the way it works is A Lot of BN connected people from UMNO, MCA,MIC, sit on their BOARDS, than when proposals are submitted, a lot of 'grease is paid to 'licinkan & dipercepatkan" the projects, toyol was very famous for these words, 'SEDEKAH OR DONATION' to poor folks or state wife's funds 'to help the 'POOR', when the only poor people involved are the janitors and cuci lantai people, theses 'ngo's, balkis, SPORTS CLUBS, ETC are all fronts for money making and collection, money laundering fronts' for BN politicians. Tak masuk akal, dari mana dapatnya rezeki adun2, ketua2 cawangan,Mp, machai2, an example, the Former M.B. M2Mohammad never explained where he got all that cash from when he was caught in australia, all this is wang haram. di halalkan bawa nama 'COMMISSION' by najib, Bottom line we need a strong judicary and anti corruption agencies, but this will not happen as long as BN is in POWER, so the next best bet is to educate the people. about BN and umno, everyone in this country knows about the corruption, but why do they still vote UMNO, because there has never been an alternative, NOW THERE is, But Pakatan must first solve its problems, it must all 'work out' a 'compromise' and 'give and take'. and actually PAS, DAP, PKR ALL SIGNED 'THE PEOPLES DECLARATION', WORK FROM THERE AND FOLLOW THOSE PRINCIPLES, those principles are what the people want. Put aside all your differences and abide by these principles and the federal constitution, we cannot go wrong there. Last and not least, please don't fall into the racial trap, keep religion out of politics, Religion is personal keep it there.
